Assistive Technology Comments

The most interesting thing I found about Assistive Technology, is that it makes people with disabilities, make it seem like they can do most of anything that normal people can do. The most surprising thing about it, would probably be the fact of how expensive that some of that technology can actually be. It is most beneficial to users that can't see. Being blind, which means Braille is most useful in my opinion. If I had to use Assistive Technology, i'd under go it as I am one of the normal people. I'd be able to do most of the same things, so why would i treat myself, or anyone different. It'd help in school/work/everyday life because it could help you understand something more, or make it come more easy to you then normal. Some people look at people with disabilities like they are some kinds of freaks, and whatever. It's not their fault that had happened to them. That's why you treat everyone the same, and don't judge, and do not stare.

Year He had to work to support his family after they were forced out of their home. 1816 His mother died. 1818 Failed in business. 1831 Was defeated for legislature. 1832 Lost his job and couldn't get into law school. 1832 Declared bankruptcy, and spent the next 17 years of his life paying off the money 
he borrowed from friends to start his business. 1833 Was defeated for legislature again. 1834 Was engaged to be married, but his sweetheart died and his heart was broken. 1835 Had a nervous breakdown and spent the next six months in bed. 1836 Was defeated in becoming the speaker of the state legislature. 1838 Was defeated in becoming elector. 1840 Was defeated for Congress 1843 Was defeated for Congress. 
He got through most of this by believing himself and pushing forward to know he can get through anything if he pushed through. He worked hard for everything he had gotten or tried to get.

2. Kim Petras. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Kim — who lives in Cologne, Germany — said: "There never was a defining moment when I thought, 'I'm not meant to be a boy'. I lived my entire life as a girl. "There wasn't ever a moment when I decided not to be a boy any more. I was just always a girl." Ever since she was two, Kim's parents Konni, 48, and Lutz, 51, were faced with the fact their youngest child — and only boy — insisted on being called a girl.


She had always been made fun of as a child. For being a "boy" but wanted to be a girl. She worked so hard because she wanted to be a girl. She worked at it till she had turned 16, got rights and had a dramatic sex change. It had changed her whole life, and a lot of other peoples.

What I learned from my Classmates

I learned from Grace, that her favorite color is green. And we like to do the same thing when we aren't in school.
I learned from Morgan, that we want to have the same job, and that we want to go to the same college.
I learned from Allie, she wants to be a criminal investigator.
I learned from Grant, that his favorite color is red.
I learned from Jerry, we want to go to the same college, and be at the same place in 10 years.

1.       My favorite thing to do when I’m not in school is; and why: Sleep, eat and hangout with friends.

2.       My favorite author/book is; and why:  I don’t really like reading, but I’d have to say Dr.Sues.

3.       My favorite artist is; and why: Justin Beiber, or Mac Miller. They are so great at singing/rapping.

4.       Where I want to be in 10 years:  California.

5.       What I expect my career to be; and why:  A nurse, or working at a very high paying job .

6.       Where I expect to go to college:  OSU, or CSU

7.       What legacy I want to leave behind: That I’m a funny, and open minded person.

8.       My personal goal for this class is: Is to get an A or B

9.       My favorite place I have visited; and why: Hawaii, it’s very pretty and a nice place to be.

            My family is: (brother, sister, ect.) tell us about your family: Only my mom, dad and I live at my house. But  I have 2 older sisters.

11     My favorite subject in school is; and why:  Lunch, I get to eat!

12.   How I give back to my community; (if you don’t now, how do you plan to in the future): By helping other people with there problems, and helping people that need it the most in my community.
